Our latest shirt is based on James Bond’s 6th outing but with a notable actor change from Sean Connery to 29-year-old George Lazenby, who looks considerably older than 29. It was the only outing of Lazerby as he, in later years, talked about his biggest mistake in bond history, which was when he quit before the movie was even out. He did say he didn’t have any regrets about it at the time. The funny part was that Lazerby when going up for the audition for Bond spent all his savings on a Rolex watch and a suit from Saville Row.

This movie features Blofelds mountaintop lair as Blofeld trys to get a title of Comte Balthazar de Bleuchamp. The location – which I think is only mentioned once by name is the Bleuchamp Institute for Allergy Research. And that is what we took our inspiration for this t-shirt from.

The location is still visitable today is the revolving restaurant, Piz Gloria in Schilthorn Switzerland. When filming, the restaurant was under construction – atop the Schilthorn Mountain peak above Murren, Switzerland. Permission to film there was granted on condition that the film company furnish the interior and build a helipad. They forked out to the then princely sum of £60,000.
